Shimi Kaplan presents “The History of Jewish Music”—a spectacular new performance that takes listeners on an unforgettable journey through the generations, timeless classics, and musical styles that have shaped the soundtrack of the Jewish world, from Cantor Yossele Rosenblatt to the present day.
The project’s unique concept and carefully curated playlist were created by Moishy Roth, specifically to showcase Shimi Kaplan’s remarkable vocal versatility and wide-ranging musical abilities.
Joining Shimi Kaplan on stage are a full symphony orchestra conducted by Benny Laufer and the full Malchus Choir, together delivering an extraordinary 11-minute musical journey through the history of Jewish music.
