Yoilish goes behind the scenes with LA Rosenzweig of Impress Wallpaper on a large commercial project in Brooklyn, with several types of wallcoverings, custom murals, wall prep, Acrovyn wall protection, corner guards and handrail protection.
LA walks through how a big commercial job really works: plans from the contractor and designer, measuring on site, ordering the right amount of material (and why you order about 15% extra), coordinating with the other trades, and staying calm when things come up.
We also talk wallpaper vs. paint, what skim coating actually is, and how to get a free estimate.
There is a lot more that goes into this industry than putting wallpaper on a wall.
